Term 4 goals

One of my term 4 goals is to reach burner 46 by the end of the term.
I will achieve this by practicing everyday after school and ask if I
don't understand the burner.

Another one of my goals is to do shot put in the athletics  because
I'm  going to try a new skill.
I will achieve this by practicing and learning new techniques.

My last term 4 goal is to remember when to come on and off the
stage in the production and to remember when to say my line.I will achieve this by listening to
the other characters.

One thing I am really looking forward to is the production at the Municipal Theatre. I am Polly
from "Polly Put The Kettle On".

Koru Art

Over the last few weeks room 3 have been doing koru

 art with Mrs Perry. We used : pastels, paper, vivid, 

scissors and PVA glue. Raewyn Harris inspired us to do it because Mrs Perry show us some of her koru art. We learnt how to blend pastels and fill the whole circle or rectangle. The koru belongs to New Zealand and no other place  in the world.

Production Update

People that speak in our school production (Once Upon a Time) have just got their costumes but some of them haven't got their full costume yet. The production rehearsals are going well and Mrs Bauerfeind is very busy with them. I am the character, Polly, from the nursery rhyme ' Polly put the kettle on.' and I am a shopkeeper. Sukey and I ( Sukey  is Dune is also in Polly put the kettle on) own a shop with tasty bites and cups of tea at the store. There are also other shopkeepers as well like Peter Piper, the Baker and lots more.

Term 3 goals

One of my goals is to give feedback.

I will achieve this by listening to the person who is reading to me and if they say something descriptive or something that sounds good I’ll say it as feedback.

Another one of my goals is to solve problems involving division with remainders with larger numbers.

I will achieve this by looking for the nearest time table and see how much is left over and that will be the remainder.

Another one of my goals is to paragraph in my draft.

I will achieve this by focusing on paragraphing in my draft and when I need to.

Stoney Creek Ranch Mini Motorbikes 2013

Broom broom broom, the motor started from the mini motorbike. I was about to face a fear and also a camp goal. If  I was going to complete this camp goal I would have to ride a mini motorbike. I got on the mini motorbike and suddenly the my heart was pumping loudly like there was somebody inside me playing a big base drum. Jeff started the mini motorbike and I went zooming around the track. I pulled the handlebar back as far as it could go. Surprisingly I really liked it and it was one of my favourite things at camp. I would want to go on one next year.
