Production Update

Production News

Six days until the production and so far it is going great! Yesterday we even had our first dress rehearsal and it was the best we have ever had and it is the only dress rehearsal we have ever had. 

In the production I am a zombie and the zombies are bad guys and you know what always happens to the bad guys. In the production zombies have to wear sneakers, trackies and a baggy top.  The make up includes baby powder-to make our faces white, black lipstick, eyeliner-for black eyes and we have to tease our hair and mine looked huge! It took a long time to comb the knots out.

So far the production has been running smoothly but Captain Boredom was away on the wrong day... the dress rehearsal. Because of that his understudy had to take over and had to be in the zombie dance as well! Apart from that everyone was at school ,healthy and ready to rehearse but because they were all here, we had to have our photo taken..... I hate photos.

Hi I am going to tell you what I thought of Gary Paulsen’s book Hatchet: Winter.

My review

I think this book was great, it tells you about what it would be like if he had not got rescued by the bush plane and what he would have to do if he had to survive winter and winter is the harshest season in Canada. The animals go into hibernation, the water freezes so it is nearly impossible to get water, but it all works out like every other happy ending.

Make sure you read it before it gets sold out!

I give this book a 10/10.

It is exciting and an adventurous survival story.

Term One

Term one as been amazing I have achieved allot this term like being away from home, trying a new sport,  being responsible and ignoring all the distractions people have made. My highlights have been shooting and archery at camp, school swimming sports and the most exciting thing this term is that I have decided to audition for the schools production I am either going to audition for Hickory Dock or Dickory Dock I think I might go for Hickory Dock. This term we are reading a book called hatchet by Gary Paulsen its about a boy who was going to see his dad in Canada but the pilot had a heart attack and the plane crashed in the Canadian wilderness! Will he survive?
